BADGER METAL
TECH, INC. ANNOUNCES THE SALE OF ITS OPERATIONS IN MENOMONEE FALLS, WI. and
MOVE TO ITS NEW LOCATION ON JULY 7, 2011 TO JACKSON, WI.
Badger Metal
Tech, Inc. (BMT) has reached an agreement with a Private Ownership Group
consisting of Mr. John R. Hessler and Mr. Tim Newman. The new group's
continuing mission will be to further develop surface engineering processes
that extend and improve the performance of all types of perishable tooling
used for die casting and other industries.
Former owner,
Mr. Jerald (Jerry) V. Skoff will remain on for an extended period of time
ensuring a smooth and successful transition.
Badger Metal
Tech, Inc. has developed critical proprietary surface engineering processes
that have revolutionized the ability to improve performance, and extend tool life for a variety of
manufacturing industries. Currently, Badger services the entire die cast tooling
industry for North American manufacturing in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
The increasing use and fatigue resistant requirements of dies used to form
and work HSLA steels in the stamping, drawing and forming related industries
is creating renewed interest and benefits that coatings and plating
applications are not
able to provide.
Badger's unique
processes have serviced over 100,000 die cast tools for more than 2,000 clients and
customers over the past 28 years — worldwide.
John Hessler,
New President of Badger Metal Tech, Inc:
"Jerry has done
an incredible job in developing Badger Metal Tech technology. Within the serviced
industries, he has formed long standing relationships with an extensive
group of engineers, purchasing personnel, executives, business owners as well
as suppliers and other key contacts. His work has reflected a true
committment to North American manufacturing ensuring the success of die
casting and metal fabricating (stamping/drawing/forming) industries in the USA.
Jerry's
participation in these professional industry associations and chapters have
been a driving force in striving to improve the overall performance of
companies by reducing costs through his processes.
Mr. Newman and
I are looking forward to continuing the future success that Jerry has grown
for us during the last 28 years. We look forward to working with Jerry as
well as becoming even better acquainted with our customer base and our
suppliers.
The sale
represents an important step in BMT’s plan to improve and ensure its
long-term growth and success. We are very excited to join this group of
individuals and customers"
